Tera came to Ponies Galore! with her dam, Ironhorse Jump For Joy, at
the tender age of 12 days. All of my friends already had foals on the
ground and I was still waiting for my three to arrive. I told myself that I
would just go and look at them for a "baby fix." Well, once I saw this
precocious little filly, I had no choice but to buy the pair!
Tera got her barn name due to her behavior (terrible!) during the halter
training process. Once we got past that, she proved to be extremely sweet
and willing and THE BIGGEST "Momma's girl." Tera is always the first
one at the gate to greet me and follows me everywhere!
Tera has near-perfect conformation and the most gorgeous face. She is extremely elegant, athletic and has a gigantic
stride. Her trot is simply breathtaking.
Tera has a very impressive show record for being so young. With three Grand Championships and a National placing to
her credit, I retired Tera from the halter ring in the late summer of her two year old year. The plan was to return her to
the show ring when she was going under saddle.
Tera is comfortable wearing a saddle and bridle and is currently learning how to lunge. She is proving to be very easy to
train and likes to work. I hope to be riding her this Fall.
Tera will be bred to
Galore's Splash of Flash for 2008.
